FORT WORTH, TX—To ring in the holiday season, the Kimbell Art Museum invites shoppers to browse unique gifts, take advantage of seasonal savings and enjoy holiday treats.
The Kimbell’s 2021 Holiday Gift Guide showcases festive favorites perfect for stuffing into stockings or placing under the tree. Featuring hand-crafted serveware, inspiring publications and imaginative games from the Museum Shops in the Louis I. Kahn Building and Renzo Piano Pavilion, shoppers can discover gifts for everyone on their list, from families to art aficionados.
All products are of limited quantity and available for in-store purchase at the Camp Bowie locations only. Patrons can contact the Museum Shop at 817-332-8451, ext. 744, with any questions.
The Museum Shops & Holiday Shopping Spree
Located in the Kahn Building and the Piano Pavilion, the Museum Shops offer a varied array of artisan jewelry, fashionable accessories and elegant decor inspired by the Kimbell’s permanent collection and the special exhibition Turner’s Modern World, as well as a large selection of architecture and art publications, games and puzzles, children's books and more. From November 9 through 21, Kimbell members will enjoy 20% off nondiscounted items during the holiday sale.
Nonmembers can join to receive this and other exclusive discounts, free admission to all special exhibitions and much more. The shops are open during museum hours, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays through Thursdays and Saturdays, noon to 8 p.m. on Fridays, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays, and are closed Mondays.
The Kimbell Café’s charming and elegant afternoon tea service is a highlight of any holiday outing. Patrons can choose between a selection of fragrant loose-leaf teas accompanied by a sweet or savory item, such as a scone, finger sandwich, cookie or muffin. Homemade jams and salted butter are also included.
Tea service is available from 2 to 4 p.m., Tuesdays through Sundays.
