Native Texan Terri Thornton is an artist, educator, and curator. Her works often combine drawings based on keen, even minute, observation with the precise and sparing use of texts. Quiet and composed, her drawings, text-based works, and installations oblige the viewer to stop, to look closely, and to think carefully.
