The Rockefeller Collection: A Place of Memory, Inspiration, and Exploration

Richard A. Pegg, director and curator of Asian art, MacLean Collection, Chicago, Illinois

Art museum curators have as many connections to objects as they do with people. Some meetings are brief, and some pieces become old friends that bring a smile to one’s face whenever encountered. Richard Pegg began his museum career working at the Asia Society Museum more than three decades ago. This online lecture will discuss linkage of Rockefeller Collection objects into nexuses of memory, inspiration, and exploration that continue to this day.
