One of Chardin’s most important paintings, "The Cut Melon" (1760) has remained in legendary private collections until now.

"Mares and Foals Belonging to the 2nd Viscount Bolingbroke," considered one of the greatest works by the eighteenth-century British painter, is acquired in memory of Ben J. Fortson (1932–2024).

"Still Life with a Bowl of Strawberries, Basket of Cherries, and Branch of Gooseberries" will be on public view for the first time in its history beginning November 18, 2022.
